Harakeke for Matariki

We are so grateful to have Jamie come in to teach us how to weave baskets so that we can eat our kai from the hangi off them.  We have learnt so much and had fun at the same time.

It was quite tricky and we had to work together to make it easier.

Now we have to wait for them to dry a little more before weaving in and trimming the ends.

Ready to eat!
