We were fortunate enough to have Hiwi the Kiwi (otherwise known as The Minstrel) come to entertain us and teach us strategies for keeping safe and following rules when fishing. It was great to have a good laugh while hearing such a serious message.
Hiwi the Kiwi gave us a challenge to write a story for a competition to win a fishing rod. May, Max and Isla were given a Distinction award. Runners up to the winner (Lydia from Room 5) were Emily and Nelson. Well done on some awesome writing!
